Neighbourhood Watch is a crime prevention and community safety programme for urban areas. It operates as a partnership between An Garda Síochána and the public. It works on the basis that every member of a community can help to improve the quality of life in the area by keeping a look out for neighbours and reporting suspicious activities to the Gardaí. We joined the scheme in 2023.

We would ask that, should you witness any illegal activity, phone An Garda Síochnána yourself on 112 or 999. We would really appreciate it if you could also email the residents association on: thecoastresidents@gmail.com with details, with a subject line of “Neighbourhood Watch”. We keep a log of all incidents in our estate and follow up with regular meetings with our local community guards.
